The Simpson Strong-Tie SSWAB is a heavy-duty preassembled anchor bolt for attaching Steel Strong-Wall® (SSW) shearwalls to concrete foundations. Available in a variety of length and diameter options, these bolts offer the flexibility to meet specific project demands. A compression nut is fixed in place to improve performance and minimize installation error.
Each SSWAB is stamped with the No Equal® symbol, bolt length, bolt diameter, and optional 'HS' designation for high strength — making inspection and identification easy at any stage of construction. Supplied with an extra nut for attachment to anchor templates.
